Zhuhai (April 19, 2019) – XH Smart Tech (China) Co., Ltd. （herein refer to “XH Smart”）recently partnered with Belgazprombank in Belarus to deliver the country’s first UnionPay EMV certified payment cards.
The collaboration between XH Smart and Belgazprombank opens many doors for future business relations between China and Belarus.
XH Smart has also been appointed one of the mainstream supplier to the Belarusian bank payment product market.
The project was formally launched in August of 2018. At present, XH Smart has successfully delivered the first batch of UnionPay cards and issued by Belgazprombank to the citizens in the region.
Representatives from both Belgazprombank and XH Smart are confident that new innovative technologies will provide further benefit to the card holders and as such are working together to enhance their offering in the region. “The launch of issue by Belgazprombank of UnionPay cards became a new milestone in the history of cooperation between Belgazprombank and international payment system UnionPay. The holders of UnionPay cards will receive access to privileges and discounts that UnionPay offers globally. The holders making a tourist or business trip can pay easily not only in China but also in any other location of the world. It is possible to choose the most suitable option from two contactless cards using QuickPaSS technology – traditional UnionPay Classic or premium UnionPay Platinum.” said Belgazprombank.
